EBANK HELP - TRANSACTIONS EXPORT
Transactions Export is used when you want to export transaction information to a personal finance application such as Quicken or Microsoft Money.
To export transactions:
- Mouse over the "Accounts" button.
- From your account list, select the desired account by clicking on the account number.
- Go to "Transactions". A drop-down menu will appear. (If no menu appears, click "Transactions".)
- Choose "Transactions Export".
- Select the account
- Select the Cycle
- All – includes Previous and Current Statement transactions
- Previous Statement transactions
- Current Statement transactions
- Previous Business Day transaction
- OR choose the dates of the transactions you would like to export.
- Select export format:
- Comma-Separated File [.CSV] -- for spreadsheets like Excel or Lotus
- Intuit Quicken [.QIF] -- for Quicken software
- Microsoft Money [.OFX] -- for Microsoft Money software
- Intuit Quickbooks [.IIF] -- for Quickbooks software
- Click "Export" to complete the process
Your computer should prompt you for the steps necessary to complete the Export.
Helpful Hints:
- If you export the same date twice, the transactions will double-load into your personal finance application.
- If you always use one type of export, the system will remember the last date exported.
- To export to Quicken or MS Money, the version you are using must be at least Quicken 1999 or MS Money 1998.
- Export feature will not work directly with versions of Quicken 2005 or later because Intuit has changed the file format and insists on charging an expensive fee for the ability to download into its software.
However, we have a work-around that will allow you to download. It only takes a few extra steps and our instructions are easy to follow. To request the Quicken work-around, contact us at info@busey.com.
