The King of Siam is an absolute ruler. But he meets his match in Anna, the feisty Welsh teacher he's hired to instruct his many wives and children in the ways of the "civilized" West and help him learn to lead his country into the modern world. These two strong, passionate people from two very different cultures discuss, debate, disagree, and ultimately fall in love to the tune of some of Broadway's greatest songs — "Shall We Dance?," "I Whistle a Happy Tune," "Hello, Young Lovers," "I Have Dreamed," "We Kiss in a Shadow," "Something Wonderful," and more!

Meals: 1 Breakfast Snack, 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner Buffet and 1 Dinner Snack Pickups: Champaign, Bloomington, Morton and Peoria

Our two-day spring adventure begins in the historic Mississippi River town of Le Claire, IA with a visit to Antique Archaeology Store, home of the American Pickers Show on the History Channel. After visiting the store, free time will follow to discover charming downtown Le Claire and enjoy lunch on your own with your friends. Early afternoon we depart for Davenport, IA and an artisan studio tour of Isabel Bloom Handcrafted Sculptures. We will have behind-the-scenes access to every step in the making of each concrete sculpture. Late afternoon, we depart for Moline, IL and check-in at the Radisson Hotel on John Deere Commons for our night stay. This evening, we will attended Circa’ 21 Dinner Playhouse in Rock Island for a delicious dinner buffet and the performance of the Broadway musical comedy “Sister Act”. The following morning after breakfast at the hotel, we depart for a self-guided tour of the John Deere Pavilion. We will discover the machines, technology, history and innovations of John Deere; and where agriculture, construction and forestry are heading in the future. Late morning, we depart for the Celebration Belle Paddlewheeler and our 4- hour “Classic Oldies” Lunch Cruise on the Mississippi River. Sit back, relax and reminisce to the songs that bring back the memories of the 50’s and 60’s Juke Box era. Let Busey take you out to the ballgame at Busch Stadium as the St. Louis Cardinals take on the Chicago Cubs. This year we are offering two seat options with associated pricing.

Club Seating - This all-inclusive facility includes outdoor covered seating in Section 258 and access to the Club throughout the game. The ticket price includes a 3-hour lunch buffet with all beverages.

Section 163 seating - This seating option is in the left field box with covered seating and $30 Cards Cash for lunch/early dinner at the concession stands.

Join us at Chicago’s historic Wrigley Field for the afternoon as the Chicago Cubs host the St. Louis Cardinals. We plan to arrive early to enjoy lunch (on your own) and batting practice prior to the 1:20 pm game. Seating is Infield Terrace Reserved behind home plate. Location: Missouri History Museum, St. Louis, MO

Our tour begins with a visit to the Missouri History Museum to tour the Little Black Dress: From Mourning to Night exhibit. Once limited to mourning, the black dress is today a staple for most women. This thought-provoking exhibit explores the transition of black from a symbol of grief to a symbol of high fashion. After the exhibit, we will enjoy lunch (included) at the museum’s restaurant, Bixby’s. After lunch, we continue our tour to “The Hill” to tour the famous soap-maker, Herbaria. After we learn about soap making and Herbaria products, time will be allowed for shopping. Our next stop is Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate to watch artisans hand-dip and decorate chocolates, and of course, enjoy a sample. Our final stop is a visit to a famous designer clothing and jewelry re-sale shop – The Vault. We’ll enjoy a “black dress” fashion show, learn about the store’s success as a TV show and have time for a bit more shopping.
