Living the Busey promise in his community, Jay Santos, Assistant Vice President - Private Client Associate, is being recognized as Busey’s Volunteer of the Month.
Jay’s passion for community and youth development are evident in his community involvement 
throughout the Florida region. His skills and passions have led him to serve as a vital member of the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral in many ways. Jay’s roles within the Chamber include serving on the Membership Development Committee to help recruit and mentor members and sitting on the Education Committee to assist local students, teachers and schools with fundraising, recognition of achievements and connection between businesses and schools. His passion for community collaboration is also what led Jay to serve as Vice Chair to the Annual Leadership Development program where he helps to host meetings about community development improvements such as public safety and healthcare.

He also gives his time to United Way Reading Pals where he empowers preschool and elementary students through mentorship and literacy help. He hopes to shine a bright light on his community figuratively through his volunteer efforts with Chamber and United Way… and literally though his service on the Holiday Festival of Lights Committee for the Cape Coral city!
