Rachel Strode Among "20 Under 40" Winners
Busey is pleased to announce Rachel Strode, Vice President and Regional Private Client Manager, has been named to Herald & Review’s 20 Under 40 list for 2020.
Rachel and her fellow honorees were selected by representatives from the Herald & Review and the Community Foundation of Macon County for their positive impact on the community.
Nominated by her peers, Rachel is a highly active member of the Decatur and Macon County area. Since joining Busey in 2018, she has not only provided service excellence in all that she does for our Pillars, but also teaches colleagues to do the same—guiding by example through her leadership. Rachel also embodies Busey’s longstanding commitment to the Central Illinois area where she actively serves on numerous committees and boards.
Her community involvement in Decatur and Macon County has only grown through the years. Rachel currently serves as a United Way board member and volunteer, as well as the UW campaign leader in the Decatur market. In addition, she is a board member for the Symphony Orchestra Guild of Decatur. Rachel recently joined PawPrint Ministries’ newly founded advisory board and is assisting with fiduciary responsibilities.
Her active participation also includes organizing Busey’s book drive—and receiving 300 donations—for children in need at Decatur Macon County Opportunities Corporation (DMCOC), leading Busey’s efforts for the 2019 WSOY Food Drive in Decatur that raised over $1,000 and volunteering at area Special Olympics events.
Congratulations to Rachel and all of the award winners on your well-deserved honor in Herald & Review’s 20 Under 40 list!
