  • Maintenance Fees on Personal Accounts

    All monthly maintenance fees on personal accounts will be waived until December 6. Everyday Savings fees will be waived until December 31. Please refer to the appropriate Disclosures & Privacy Policy for a complete listing of our fees. 

  • Account and Routing Numbers

    Most account numbers will remain the same. In the event a new account number is necessary, we will contact you.

    On November 6, your routing number will be 071102568. We'll send a Notice of Change to the companies with whom you have established automatic payments or deposits, advising them to update your account information. However, for security reasons, some companies may require notification from you before making the change. We encourage you to contact anyone with whom you have established automatic payments or deposits after November 6.

  • Account Statements and Notices

    You may notice changes to the appearance of your monthly statement and account notices. You will receive a final First Community Bank statement generated on November 3. This special paper statement will include payment of all earned interest on checking and money market accounts, and no fees will be assessed. Your next statement will be issued by Busey, and your statement schedule will remain the same.

    All monthly maintenance fees on personal accounts will be waived until December 6. Everyday Savings fees will be waived through December 31.

    Important Note: if your regular statement date falls between November 4-9, you will receive your first Busey statement on your regular statement date in December.

  • FDIC Insurance

    Rest assured your deposits will continue to be insured by the FDIC. The standard maximum deposit insurance amount is $250,000 per depositor per insured depository institution for each account ownership category.

  • Automatic Payments over Conversion Weekend

    Beginning November 6, Busey will process your existing direct deposits and recurring payments through your Busey account. If you have an automatic payment scheduled for November 4, 5, or 6, it will be processed on Friday, November 3. If the early processing of this payment results in a fee, you will not be charged. Please call us at 1.630.708.5738 or 1.800.841.6848 with any concerns.

  • Personal and Business Checks

    You may continue to use your existing First Community Bank checks. Busey partners with Deluxe - our preferred check provider - for check orders. To place a check order with Deluxe, order through Busey ebank or stop by your local branch for assistance. If you wish to order checks from a different provider, please be sure to update your bank routing number.

Personal Account Information

  • What should I know about my accounts?

    Busey promises the resources you need to help you achieve your financial dreams. We have recommended accounts we hope will best suit your needs, and monthly maintenance fees will be waived until December 6, to allow time for you to evaluate your new accounts. If you find the account isn't what you need, your personal banker will help you select an account that is just right for you.

  • Online Banking with Busey ebank

    First Community Bank business and consumer online banking will be available until Friday, November 4. Beginning Monday, November 6, you will have access to Busey’s online banking systems—ebank and Business Access @ Busey. You will receive additional communication with your login credentials in mid-October. If you need account information over conversion weekend, please call Customer Care at 1.630.708.5738 or 1.800.841.6848.

  • Busey Debit Mastercard®

    Please continue using your First Community ® debit card through 2017. Beginning in mid-November, Busey will begin issuing Debit Mastercards® to replace First Community Bank debit cards. Your new debit card will include an EMV chip - an additional layer of security.

    A Busey Debit Mastercard® is a convenient alternative to carrying cash and checks and may be used anywhere Mastercard® is accepted!

    • Pay for your purchases while avoiding the hassles of writing a check
    • Enjoy additional security with the EMV chip card
    • Manage your purchases on your detailed monthly statement of all transactions.
     

    Your Busey Debit Mastercard® offers extended warranty, price protection, and satisfaction guarantee benefits.

    With your new Busey Debit Mastercard®, you're automatically enrolled in our purchase rewards program, Purchase Rewards, letting you earn cash back on debit card purchases with no points, no coupons and no hassle. Purchase Rewards® is an easy way to earn extra cash by doing what you are already doing.

  • Loans, Lines of Credit and Money Line

    While you may notice a few enhancements to your paper statement and notices, in most cases there will be no change to the terms of your loan or line of credit. If there are changes that impact you, we will contact you directly. Mortgage Periodic Statements will be delivered on the 18th of the month. Automatic deductions for payments on your loan will continue with no disruption. You may continue to use your current coupon book and remit your payment with no change. If you have already established overdraft protection through these lines of credit, this will transfer automatically with no action needed on your part.

    In addition, your loan account number on your statement and checks may change slightly. If you would like complimentary checks for your Busey Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) please contact your local banker after November 6.

  • Annual Statements for Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)

    You will continue to receive an end of year IRA statement. Current IRA information will be available on Busey ebank, or if you have a Busey checking account, you may request a monthly combined statement where this information will appear. You may notice a slight change to the way your CD or IRA number appears on your statement.

    If your IRA matures after November 3, you will receive your maturity notice approximately three weeks prior to renewal.

  • Safe Deposit Boxes

    You will keep your current safe deposit box and your existing key. For billing purposes, you will notice your safe deposit box account number will change. This will not change your box number.

    Going forward, you will receive a billing statement in the middle of the month prior to your safe deposit box anniversary date.

    The new fee structure outlined below will take effect in December:

  • Pre-authorized Transfers for Overdraft Protection

    If you have an existing pre-authorized transfer between accounts to cover overdrafts, this will carry over. To help minimize fees, we transfer funds in increments of $100 for a $10 charge per transfer.

  • Overdraft Advantage®

    If you currently have overdraft protection through First Community Bank, you will be automatically enrolled in Busey’s Overdraft Advantage® program. Your overdraft limit(s) will not change through year-end but will convert to Busey’s adjustable overdraft limits in January based on your deposit and transaction history.

    If you've elected to have your everyday debit card purchases paid when there are non-sufficient funds in your account, this will continue at Busey, and our standard $35 overdraft fee will apply. See pg. 25 in the disclosure booklet for more information.

  • What should I know about my accounts?

  • How do I register for Small Business ebank?

    Visit the Small Business ebank registration page and complete the form using the Tax Identification Number of the business. Approval of a small business ebank account may take up to two business days, however, if immediate access is needed, please call Busey’s Customer Care at 800.841.6848 for an expedited review. You will receive an email once your registration is approved.

  • How do I grant authorized users access to my Small Business ebank account?

    It's easy! With Shared Access you can share the work, not your password. Visit the Shared Access page to see how easy it is to securely grant designated individuals access to your accounts. 

  • Overdraft Advantage®

    If you currently have overdraft protection through First Community Bank, you will be automatically enrolled in Busey’s Overdraft Advantage® program. Your overdraft limit(s) will not change through year-end but will convert to Busey’s adjustable overdraft limits in January based on your deposit and transaction history. See page 25 in the disclosure booklet for more information.

Conversion Weekend Details

  • Branch Hours

    Branches will be open normal business hours Thursday - Saturday, and will reopen during normal hours on Monday, November 6.

  • Customer Care

    Customer Care will be available during normal business hours on Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.; with additional hours on Sunday, noon - 5 p.m., to assist with online banking, debit cards or other conversion questions.

  • Online Banking

    First Community Bank business and consumer online banking will be available until Friday, November 3. Beginning Monday, November 6, you will have access to Busey's online banking systems—ebank and Business Access @ Busey. You will receive additional communication with your new login credentials in mid-October.
