MoneySmart Youth Program
Busey's MoneySmart Youth is a fun and animated program designed to teach kids the importance of money– how it's used, earned, saved and taxed– in a fun and interactive way.
MoneySmart Youth includes four different lessons, best suited for children from ages five to ten. Each lesson contains a video, activity, activity key and certificate of completion. Click the tabs below to get started!
MoneySmart Youth Lessons:
Lesson 1: Understanding Money
This lesson is best suited for children between the ages of five and six.
- After completing the Lesson 1 video above, complete the Level 1 Activity.
- When you are finished with the Lesson 1 activity, check your answers with the answer key.
- Once you have completed the activity, print your Lesson 1 Certificate of Achievement!
Lesson 2: Priorities
This lesson is best suited for children between the ages of six and seven.
- After completing the Lesson 2 video above, complete the Lesson 2 activity.
- When you are finished with the Lesson 2 activity, check your answers with the answer key.
- Once you have completed the activity, print your Lesson 2 Certificate of Achievement!
Lesson 3: Spend, Donate, Invest
This lesson is best suited for children between the ages of eight and nine.
- After completing the Lesson 3 video above, complete the Lesson 3 activity.

Lesson 4: Taxes and Credit
This lesson is best suited for children between the ages of nine and ten.
