David Milton Joins Busey as Regional President in Texas

 

Busey is pleased to announce David Milton has joined the organization as Executive Vice President, Regional President, in our Texas Region. 

 

In his role, David oversees Busey’s Dallas, Fort Worth and Frisco markets, guiding commercial, wealth management, treasury management and payments technology activities in Texas while supporting growth and identifying new opportunities. 

 

Steve Peterson, President of Regional Banking for Busey Bank, said he’s excited for the opportunity to continue their collaboration with Busey.

 

“David’s financial expertise and broad experience in the region will be tremendous assets to our entire organization while his personality and proven leadership track record are an ideal fit for Team Busey,” he said. “He has extensive connections and relationships in our Texas markets and will play a pivotal role in collaborating with local businesses, community leaders and stakeholders to drive economic growth.”

 

Prior to joining Busey, David was Dallas Market President – Director of Middle Market Banking, with Comerica Bank. He also served as National Director of Private Banking, North Texas Director of Business Banking and Middle Market Group Manager during more than 21 years with Comerica. His background also includes a 15-year stint with Bank of America.

 

David earned a BBA/BS in Business Administration/Economics from Southern Methodist University.
