Sergio Cossio Joins Busey as Tucson Market President

Continuing to expand and strengthen our leadership structure across the company footprint, we’re pleased to announce Sergio Cossio has joined Busey as Vice President, Market President – Tucson. Sergio—who began his tenure on January 5—will be based out of our Tucson office in Busey’s West Region.

Under his leadership and direction, Sergio guides Busey’s Commercial, Wealth Management and Treasury Management activities in the Tucson Market. Bringing over 25 years of banking experience, he has an extensive knowledge of Private Banking and Consumer Credit, Commercial Credit, Liquidity Management, Treasury Management, FX Capital Markets and other financial services. Prior to joining Busey in 2026, Sergio worked for First Citizens Bank and Trust after 17 years with National Bank of Arizona.
