Busey Bank Named SBA Rural Lender of the Year

Busey Bank is proud to be named Rural Lender of the Year by the Illinois District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration. The award recognizes Busey’s strong dedication to working with rural businesses to aid economic opportunities and quality of life for clients through SBA Express, SBA 7(a) and other lending options.

Factors considered in the determination of the prestigious award included total loan volume, historical performance and overall coverage of Busey’s service area. Members of the Busey SBA Lending and Credit teams were presented with the award recently by the SBA Illinois District Office.

“It’s truly an honor to be recognized by the SBA as the Rural Lender of the Year,” Steve Lasiewicz, Senior Vice President and Director of Government Guaranteed Lending at Busey, said. “This award is a direct reflection on the dedication and commitment of our teams and the trusted relationships they have built with so many hardworking business owners throughout Illinois.”

Busey, an SBA preferred lender with a dedicated SBA 7(a) division, has extensive expertise in SBA eligibility and forms while offering quick underwriting for clients looking to start a business or current business owners looking to grow.
