Scott Anthony Joins Busey as Executive Director of Technology

Busey is pleased to share Scott Anthony has joined the organization as Executive Director of Technology.

 

In his role, Scott provides leadership, vision, direction and mentorship to Busey’s Technology team and plays an integral role in the continued growth and development of the bank’s business and digital services, automation and data strategies. He is responsible for Business Systems, Automation, Data Governance, Network & Infrastructure, Telecommunications and Technology Support to drive operational efficiency across the organization.

 

“With his vast expertise, proven track record of driving technology innovation and collaborative leadership style, we believe Scott is the ideal person to drive our strategy forward while building upon on our strong team culture,” said Amy Fauss, Chief Information & Technology Officer. “He will also partner with Busey’s regional banking and operational teams to ensure technology initiatives meet long-term business goals while managing the internal data environment to support data analytics solutions and identifying opportunities for technology investment and innovation.”

 

Scott is a strategic and execution-focused chief technology officer with 25 years of experience leading engineering, data and IT teams across pet insurance, wealth management, SaaS and real estate. Prior to joining Busey, he was Chief Technology Officer at Companion Protect in Leawood, a SaaS-based pet insurance administrator powering pet programs for major insurance carriers including Progressive, Safeco, Liberty Mutual and AAA.

 

Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University, where he focused on Game Theory and Finance.
