Troy Norris Joins Busey as Arizona Regional President


Executive has over 25 Years Experience in Banking

 
Busey is pleased to announce Troy Norris has joined the organization as Executive Vice President, Regional President of our growing Arizona region. 
 
In his role, Troy oversees Busey’s Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tucson markets, guiding commercial, wealth management, treasury management and payments technology activities in Arizona while supporting growth and identifying new opportunities. 
 
Tony Hammond, Executive Vice President – President of Busey Bank, previously worked closely with Troy for nearly eight years and said he’s excited for the opportunity to continue their collaboration with Busey.
“Troy’s financial expertise and broad experience in the region will be tremendous assets to our entire organization while his personality and proven leadership track record are an ideal fit for Team Busey,” he said. “He has extensive connections and relationships in Arizona markets and will play a pivotal role in collaborating with local businesses, community leaders and stakeholders to drive economic growth.”
 
A growth-oriented finance executive, Troy is a strategic thinker and collaborative leader with more than 25 years of extensive experience in banking. Prior to joining Busey, he was Arizona Market President with Comerica Bank, also serving as Group Manager for Middle Market and Emerging Middle Market bankers in the region. His background also includes a 17-year tenure with Arizona Bank & Trust, holding several key leadership roles including Director of Commercial and Industrial Lending.

A United States Air Force veteran, Troy earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Nebraska and is also an alumnus of the Graduate School of Banking at Boulder, CO. Norris is actively involved in the community, having served or currently serving as a member of the Chandler Compadres, a nonprofit organization that raises money to help children and families in need, while volunteering and supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley, ICAN Positive Programs for Youth, AZCEND, the Chandler Education Foundation and several other charitable causes.
