Michelle Stallmeyer

As part of the Community Banking team, Michelle offers programs and services to low- to moderate-income individuals and families throughout our footprint and helps provide access to the knowledge, tools and resources needed to achieve financial empowerment. She joined Busey in 2020 and specializes in Down payment Assistance Grants, including Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s DPP, IHDA programs and local grants.

 

Homeownership improves academic outcomes in children, aids in better health, allows more financial freedom, builds independence, and creates a stable and secure environment for families. It is the largest asset most people will ever have, and I feel it should be an option for everyone. Working as a Community Banking Mortgage Loan Officer allows me to help make homeownership achievable for low- to moderate-income individuals and families.

 

Along with my role at Busey, I’m active in my Central Illinois community, including serving on the 40 N Arts Council Board and the Housing Authority of Champaign County Family Self-Sufficiency Program Coordinating Committee.
