Hillard Named to the CFA Society


Busey is honored to announce Zach Hillard, Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer for Busey Wealth Management, has been named to the CFA Society Chicago Board of Directors for 2020-2021. His term begins September 1.

Founded in 1925, CFA Society Chicago is part of the worldwide network of CFA Institute member societies that lead the investment profession globally by promoting the highest standards of ethics, education and professional excellence for the ultimate benefit of society. The sixth largest society under CFA Institute, CFA Society Chicago represents the interests of more than 4,600 investment professionals in Chicago through advocacy, education, events and professional development. There are more than 179,000 CFA charterholders worldwide in 178 markets.

Overseeing and working with a team of Busey Wealth Management investment professionals, Zach is responsible for the investment process and for devising investment strategies to help clients meet their financial goals. He has over 20 years of investment management experience, 12 of which have been at Busey.

Zach received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Masters in Business Administration from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University in Chicago. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and member of the CFA Society Chicago. Zach is active in the community, serving on various boards including the Monticello CUSD #25 Board of Education, the University of Illinois System’s Investment Advisory Council and the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
