Business Access Upgrade



At Busey, we’re committed to delivering service excellence through integrated technology that enhances the client experience.

As a result, we’re excited to announce that we will be completing an upgrade to our Commercial and Treasury Management Online Banking platform—Business Access—offering a modern design and enabling personalization and even more robust Treasury Management functionality in August and September 2022.

Ahead of the upgrade, you may wish to:
  • Delete any inactive users on your current Business Access account.
  • Review ACH and Wire Templates, removing any that are no longer needed.

Important Upgrade Notes

System Unavailability: Beginning at 6 p.m. CT on the day prior to your upgrade, access to your company’s Business Access Online and Mobile profile will be unavailable.

After 7 a.m. CT on the day of your upgrade, you may begin to access your updated Business Access experience using your existing credentials.

Log-In Information: Your login credentials (company ID, username, and password) will not be affected by the upgrade so you’ll continue using current credentials to log-in. Online Banking login information may be used to gain access to Mobile Banking.

Multi-Factor Authentication: We have implemented high-security standards through Business Access to protect your account. Users will be presented with a prompt to perform multi-factor authentication at each log-in and when processing payment modules.

Browser Compatibility: The Chrome Web browser will offer you the best online experience for Business Access functions. Internet Explorer will not work.

Action Items

ACH and Wire Templates: Existing templates have been transferred for your convenience. Please confirm payment details prior to initiating and processing batches.

Alerts: A variety of new alerts and notifications are available with the upgraded Business Access platform. Please be sure to review and establish alerts for each user as you prefer.

Same-Day ACH Origination: With the system enhancements, you will have the option to submit eligible transactions for Same-Day ACH processing through the platform.

Uses: Emergency payroll or vendor payments, where the benefits of the same-day settlement are worthwhile.

Eligible Transactions: Outgoing credit and debit ACH transactions of $1,000,000 or less.

Fees: The cost to originate a Same Day ACH transaction is $1.00 per transaction.

Submit Transactions: Selecting an effective date of the current business day prior to the Same Day ACH Cut-Off time will designate the transaction as a Same-Day Transaction. Use of the Pass-Thru files function is ineligible for Same Day ACH -please upload the file or create a batch to process the transactions as Same Day ACH.

Recurring ACH Approval: Customers are no longer required to log in and approve their Recurring ACH Transactions with each occurrence. Unless the payment is edited, the transaction will only require the initial approval sequence.

Reports: Existing standard reports will be available along with a variety of reports and features in the upgrade. However, custom reports were unable to be migrated, please contact our Support team for assistance.

-  Internal Transfers: 6 p.m.
-  Mobile and Remote Deposit Capture: 5 p.m.
-  ACH and Check Positive Pay Exceptions: 11 a.m.
