As Managing Director, Wealth, in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa Markets, Wes and his team are responsible for identifying and generating business opportunities while ensuring client satisfaction and retention through the delivery of top-tier service and full-service wealth management and private banking solutions.
With over 20 years of experience and a demonstrated history of success in the wealth management industry, Wes previously served as Senior Vice President – Private Wealth Market Director with Simmons Bank for six years before joining Busey in 2025. His experience also included roles at Bank of Oklahoma Private Wealth and BancFirst Trust & Investment Management. Along with his professional accreditations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planning Professional (CFP®) and Certified Trust & Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), Wes earned an MBA in Finance and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma.
An active community member, he currently serves as the Secretary and Treasurer of Leadership Oklahoma and is a graduate of the program. Wes also completed the prestigious Leadership Oklahoma City and Leadership Edmond programs. Additionally, he is a Trustee and Audit Committee Chair for the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum and Vice President on the Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council.
