Curt Anderson Among Best-In-State Wealth Advisors

Busey is pleased to announce Curt Anderson, Executive Vice President, President of Busey Wealth Management, was named among Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors as one of the top 118 advisors in Illinois.

Curt was selected from more than 32,000 nominees nationwide based on his ability to create a positive impact in his clients’ lives. The 2021 Forbes’ list spotlights more than 5,000 top advisors across the country who collectively manage more than $6 trillion in client assets. The advisors were nominated by their firms—and then researched, interviewed and assigned a ranking within their respective states and markets.

The ranking, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. Advisors considered have a minimum of seven years’ experience, and the algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients.

Curt, who has been with Busey for more than 30 years, is both a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a member of the Financial Planning Association. An honors graduate from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, Curt earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance. He is a dedicated community leader and volunteer, giving of his time and resources to countless organizations in Champaign County.
