Volunteer Spotlight Featuring Chris Sabino

Chris recognizes that volunteering in his community can have a significant impact. His involvement started when Chris passed along his love of sports to his son. Currently, he is enjoying coaching for Naperville Little League’s baseball team and for Naperville Park District’s flag football team. During the other sporting seasons, Chris coaches basketball and summer baseball for Naperville Park District.

In addition to coaching, Chris has been dedicated to volunteering in his son’s school because of the need he saw for parent volunteers while growing up. Chris is currently on the finance committee for All Saints Catholic Academy and volunteered throughout September to help put on an inaugural 3-on-3 basketball tournament for students and parents. This event helped raise money for the school and its current financial needs. “I enjoy passing along what I’ve learned from coaches to the kids and seeing the excitement it provides them when they succeed,” Chris mentions.
