Program Purpose

As a Busey Career Discovery intern, you are assigned real work that not only benefits the bank, but also provides real-world experience in your specific area of study. Our Interns work alongside leaders in a fast-paced, professional setting, and receive a unique look into the way we do business, foster relationships and live the Busey Promise!

Throughout the year, we offer paid internships in the following areas:

Accounting
Branch Retail Lending
Credit Administration
Commercial Lending
Finance and Treasury
Human Resources
Information Technology
Marketing
Risk and Compliance
Service Support
Wealth Management

Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program that is in a related field of study
GPA of 3.45 or higher is preferred
Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills
Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision
An interest in working in the financial services industry
