With more than 25 years of experience, Brenda helps clients navigate the lending process through a smooth and transparent experience with clear communication and reliable guidance every step of the way. 

 

Acting as the “quarterback”, Brenda leads the process from origination through execution and has helped fund over $500 million in loans throughout her career. Her role involves sourcing new business opportunities and serving as the primary driver throughout the process. Along with building strong relationships, she coordinates with internal teams, manages negotiations and helps ensures a smooth close for the client.

 

Brenda, who joined Busey in 2025, earned her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and attended SUNY for her MBA. Her previous experience includes roles with banks and non-bank institutions, including GE Capital, US Bank, BLX and Celtic Bank. Currently, she serves on the board of the Arizona Mortgage Lenders Association and is past president and national delegate of Arizona Commercial Real Estate Women.
