Charles brings more than 35 years of financial services experience and leads the Florida Wealth Advisory team. Prior to joining Busey, he was the founding member and President & CEO of Investors’ Security Trust.

As a lifelong resident of Southwest Florida, Charles works tirelessly with volunteer endeavors to make his community a better place to live. He has received countless honors for his dedication, including the Boy Scouts Distinguished Service Award, Clara Barton Humanitarian Award, Gulfshore Life Magazine’s Man of the Year Award, and the Distinguished Leadership Award from Leadership Lee County.

Currently, Charles is Chairman of the Board for the Jewish Federation of Lee County; Director/Chairman of the Board for Hope Hospice; Director for the Children's Advocacy Center; and Senior Advisor for the Southwest Florida Community Foundation. He also served as Director/Chairman with the Lee Memorial Health Foundation; Lee County School Foundation; FGCU Foundation; and United Way of Lee County.

Charles graduated from the University of Georgia with a BA degree in Business and Finance and completed the LSU Graduate School of Banking.

Brent Crawford

Brent Crawford is Executive Vice President of Busey Wealth Management and oversees ultra-high net worth clients and family offices across the United States.

Prior to joining Busey Wealth Management, Brent served as Managing Director of U.S. Trust at Bank of America. Originally from North Carolina, Brent earned his undergraduate degrees in Business Administration with an emphasis on Trust & Estate Administration, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Campbell University. Brent has worked in the trust and estate planning arena since 1994.

Brent has served as a director for several nonprofit agencies in southwest Florida, including Lee Memorial Health System Foundation and the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools. In 2007, he was honored as a Forty Under 40 recipient by Gulfshore Life magazine. Brent currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Wealth & Trust Management School of Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina; the Board of Directors of the Evangelical Christian School; and is a mentor with Take Stock in Children.

For over 30 years, Kathy has worked with trusts and legacy organizations, assisting clients with wealth structuring, and estate and trust administration.

In 2013 she obtained the CTFA designation through the Institute of Certified Bankers, a subsidiary of the American Bankers Association.

Kathy is a Fort Myers native and is actively involved in the southwest Florida community, including her past role as Board President of the Lee County Estate Planning Council.

Karen has 35 years of banking and trust experience and has extensive knowledge in trust administration, estates, and asset management. She enjoys all her clients, meeting new ones, and takes pride in helping them obtain all their financial goals. A graduate of the Stevens Institute of Business and Art in St. Louis, MO., Karen successfully completed Trust School I, II and III through Cannon Financial Institute. She also graduated from the Illinois Bankers Association Trust and Investment Management School.

Karen serves on the Southwest Community Foundation Scholarship Committee and is a member of the Lee County Estate Planning Council. She loves spending time with her family and gives back to the community by volunteering her time with various organizations.

Chris is a seasoned trust administrative officer with over 30 years’ experience focusing on fiduciary administration and trust operations. She has a high level of technical knowledge in the field of Estate and Trust Administration.

As a Fiduciary Advisor, she works with individuals and families to understand their goals and provide solutions to achieve these goals.

Chris graduated from Old Dominion University and the Florida Bankers Association Trust School in 1992.
