With a genuine desire to help others succeed, Jay treats his clients—whether they’re starting out or firmly established—like part of his family. As a Private Client Associate, he is committed to being honest, available and keeping his word when it comes to helping Busey clients reach their goals.
Since joining Busey in 2017, Jay has become well-versed in the financial industry—serving as a teller, assistant branch manager and Small Business banker before moving into his current role. His contributions to the organization have not gone unnoticed as he is a 2021 recipient of the Ed Scharlau Spirit Award, presented to associates who encourage others, keep learning, and above all else, exude a positive attitude in every situation.
Jay firmly believes in giving back to his community and is involved in several local organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral and Cape Coral Construction Industry Association. In addition, he is among the 2021 class of Leadership Cape Coral; past recipient of the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral’s Member of the Month; member of the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral’s Education Committee and Membership Development Committee; and participates in the United Way Reading Pal at Franklin Park Elementary and the Gulf Elementary Watch D.O.G.S.
