Living the Busey promise in her community, Natalie Wheeler, VP, Commercial Relationship Manager II, is being recognized as Busey’s Volunteer of the Month.
Natalie has truly made a remarkable impact through her dedication to coaching her sons' basketball teams as a Ball Hog Youth Basketball Coach. Growing up, basketball was more than just a sport for Natalie; it was a source of structure, purpose, and invaluable life lessons. Her favorite memories include playing basketball in the driveway with her dad and brother, moments that not only deepened her love for the game but also shaped her approach to parenting. Inspired by coaches who believed in her and invested in her success, Natalie has carried those lessons into her adult life, becoming a supportive and encouraging figure for her boys and their teammates.Coaching for Natalie is about more than just teaching basketball skills; it's about being a positive role model and fostering good sportsmanship. She takes pride in helping kids grow into confident, respectful young individuals, and watching them develop and support each other has been incredibly rewarding. Natalie is grateful to work for a company that values volunteering, allowing her the time to engage in such meaningful activities. Her commitment to coaching and her passion for the game have made a lasting impact on the lives of many young athletes.
