Volunteer Spotlight Featuring Stephanie Harmon

January 2026 BUSEY'S VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH

Stephanie Harmon

Living the Busey promise in her community, Stephanie Harmon,  AVP, Mortgage Investor Servicing Manager, is being recognized as Busey’s Volunteer of the Month.

Stephanie has been an invaluable member of the Edwardsville High School Band Boosters since her son joined as a freshman. She has supported the band through major milestones, including local Grand Champion wins, Bands of America competitions, and their remarkable invitation to perform in the 40th Anniversary London New Year’s Day Parade. Performing before more than 700,000 people broadcasted on PBS was a highlight for the Edwardsville Marching Tigers. Stephanie traveled with 140 students and chaperones, making the weeklong London trip a proud and memorable moment in her volunteer journey.

What stands out most about Stephanie is her unwavering dedication to the students and their personal growth. Whether she is staffing the first aid tent in 100 degree heat or helping tear down equipment after a long day of competition, she approaches every task with genuine care and enthusiasm. For Stephanie, the true reward is watching students succeed in the way they support one another and build character through hard work and shared experiences.

Congratulations, Stephanie
