Volunteer Spotlight Featuring Michelle Watson

Michelle Watson

Living the Busey promise in her community, Michelle Watson, Service Manager, is being recognized as Busey’s Volunteer of the Month.

Michelle’s passion for giving back to her community is proven by her time and commitment towards the Peoria Players Theatre. Michelle has devoted about 60 hours, solely in the month of August, assisting wherever she can at the Peoria Players Theatre. She also dedicates a significant amount of time volunteering at her local church as well.

Peoria Players Theatre is the oldest continuously running community theater in the state and fourth oldest in the nation. They are currently celebrating their 104th year of creating entertaining productions! Michelle volunteers her talents and skills to help keep the shows running smoothly. These efforts include painting various sets on stage, cleaning up the theater, and volunteering at rehearsals to bring great shows to the Peoria area. Michelle is even performing in an upcoming play, Little Shop of Horrors, in September. Thank you, Michelle, for contributing to the ongoing success and long-lasting Peoria Players Theatre!

Congratulations Michelle!
