Steve Lasiewicz

Growing up in a small family-owned and operated printing business, Steve feels a strong connection with Busey’s SBA clients. He personally understands the issues small business owners face on a day-to-day basis.

 

By coupling personal and professional experience, Steve offers a unique insight to SBA clients, who may find the world of business banking a bit confusing at times. In his current role, Steve also leads a team of talented business development officers throughout Busey’s footprint in Illinois, Missouri, Indiana and Florida. He joined Busey in 2017 but started in the financial services industry in 1992 with First Midwest Securities. For the 18 years prior to joining Busey, Steve’s experience in the industry grew with roles as a top sales representative at both Business Loan Express and US Bank.

 

Steve has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from DePaul University. As a specialist in SBA and Government Guaranteed Lending, Steve helps simplify business banking and gives clients a clear view of how Busey can help them going forward.
